Cambridge L. Baker is Senior Counsel managing AMG LAW's Fairfax office. Ms. Baker has practiced exclusively family law throughout her career. Her practice covers a wide range of family law matters in Virginia, including separation, divorce, protective orders, custody, visitation, and support cases, with substantial experience in high net-worth and complex divorce cases as well as complicated custody cases, including relocation cases. She represents clients in Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and across Northern Virginia.

Originally from Longmont, Colorado, Ms. Baker grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts, completing her studies a semester early. She double-majored in Political Science and International Relations and double-minored in Spanish and Latin American Studies, distinguishing herself as a Presidential Scholar.

Before pursuing law, Ms. Baker worked as a Private Wealth Management Administrative Assistant and later as a Wealth Management Professional at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Boston and Washington, D.C., respectively. Licensed as a broker with FINRA Series 7 and 66, she worked closely with high-net-worth clients, attorneys, and accountants, providing personalized financial and investment services.

Ms. Baker left Goldman, Sachs & Co. in 2015 to attend the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, she clerked with the in-house legal department of CarMax, Inc. and served as President of the Trial Advocacy Board. She was also a Manuscripts Editor on the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology. She graduated with a Juris Doctor degree and was inducted into the Order of Barristers for her exceptional oral advocacy and brief writing. After passing the Virginia Bar Examination, Ms. Baker worked at two prominent family law firms in Northern Virginia, before joining AMG LAW PLC.

Ms. Baker is known for being thoroughly prepared in all aspects of her legal practice, ensuring that her clients receive diligent and strategic representation. She holds a perfect 10.0 rating from Justia and was recognized as a 2026 Best Lawyers "Ones To Watch In America", Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is respected as a competent, vigilant, and strong oral advocate for her clients, both in court and during settlement negotiations.
