What does being a younger attorney bring to the way you approach family law?

Being a younger attorney means I bring a fresh perspective, strong technological proficiency, and a high level of energy and motivation to my practice. I have a natural inclination toward zealous advocacy, and I am driven to thoroughly prepare, explore every available option, and pursue the best possible results for my clients.

Being part of a newer generation of attorneys allows me to approach cases with an openness to new ideas, technology, and different ways of solving problems, while still recognizing the value of the experience and knowledge of the attorneys around me.

How do you help clients feel confident when they are facing an intimidating legal process?

I believe the best way to make a client feel confident is to ensure they are fully informed of the matters they are involved in. Legal matters can be very complicated, and I believe I am especially talented at distilling complex legal concepts into an easily digestible and understandable manner.

What have you learned about advocating fearlessly while still keeping the client’s long-term goals in focus?

I have learned that it is important to strike a balance between what a client wants in the moment and what a client wants in the long-term. Divorce and custody issues can be very emotional, and those emotions can tend to affect a client’s judgment and requests for short-term solutions which may not benefit them in the long run. I always focus on advising a client in a manner that ensures their short-term goals are achieved without sacrificing the ultimate outcome.
